Chinese Tofu Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 15 ml sesame seeds
  • 300 grams tofu, cubed
  • 15 ml sesame oil
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 red pepper, sliced
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 15 ml cornflour
  • 30 ml balsamic vinegar
  • 20 ml soy sauce
  • 125 ml water

Instructions
 

  • Press the sesame seeds onto the tofu cubes. Brown the cubes in the sesame oil.
  • Remove the tofu and set aside. Saute the onions and peppers in the the same saucepan until soft.
  • Stir in the cornflour, then add balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and water to make sauce, stirring constantly.
  • Bring to the boil, add tofu, heat through and serve.
