When dining out on a plant-based diet, do some research in advance. The research will help you to find vegan-friendly restaurants. Take time to investigate your options. You can then ensure that you have a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.

This entity is a 100% vegan eatery in Durban North. It caters for everyone who is vegan or trying to become more plant-based.

The café offers smoothie bowls, vegan cheese toasties, and veggie bowls. Their dishes boost sweet potatoes and the signature ‘vurgers’. 

They offer a Mexican-style burger with smashed avo. They also add hot green chilli and garlic burger with chilli mayo.  

Vrushik’s Vegetarian Foods

You’ll find this eatery in Briardene. They cater for all vegans. They don’t use meat, fish, or egg products in their dishes.

Greenery Juice Cafe

 The Greenery Juice Cafe is a delicious new smoothie and juice bar at the Piggly Wiggly Center in Lion’s River.

 They have a beautiful, fresh menu with delightful and healthy combinations. Combinations that will leave you feeling refreshed and energized for the day. 

They serve up a feast of vegetarian and vegan options. Enjoy Mr Green Smoothie with spinach, celery, pineapple, ginger, avo and coconut water.  

Greenery Juice Cafe also offers the best bagels I have tasted in a long time.

Visit Grounded at Echo in Villieria. They have an Oat Bowl with cooked oats topped with stewed cinnamon apples. Added to it are almond flakes and berries.

They also have delicious grilled brinjals with avocado and various ingredients.

Leafy Greens serves hand-picked, fresh produce straight from their organic garden. They believe in preparing and serving nutritious and delicious seasonal and organic food.

 They serve Gado Gado and Bobotie. Plant Deli provide a dark chocolate brownie and a chocolate bliss ball.

A zero-waste, all-vegan, plant-based sushi restaurant. As its name says, it is a plushy restaurant to enjoy your meal.

Wild Eatery

Wild Eatery is in Somerset West.

A cosy vegan eatery with outdoor seating. Grab a healthy, nutritious lunch and a smoothie or coffee. Offers a variety of falafel wraps, salads, warm bowls and sweet treats. All meals available are gluten-free.
