Chinese Tofu Recipe
Chinese tofu recipe give you non-dairy calcium. Easy to cook and delicious.
Ingredients
- 15 ml sesame seeds
- 300 grams tofu, cubed
- 15 ml sesame oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1 red pepper, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 15 ml cornflour
- 30 ml balsamic vinegar
- 20 ml soy sauce
- 125 ml water
Instructions
- Press the sesame seeds onto the tofu cubes. Brown the cubes in the sesame oil.
- Remove the tofu and set aside. Saute the onions and peppers in the the same saucepan until soft.
- Stir in the cornflour, then add balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, and water to make sauce, stirring constantly.
- Bring to the boil, add tofu, heat through and serve.
